Far East Bunkering Services (Melaka) Sdn Bhd is another company with a common shareholder as Far East Melaka. The company has been appointed as the operator and manager of special anchorage area known as Melaka Bunkering Port, within Port Limits of Malacca Port. It is being positioned as “off-shore bunkering station” for vessels passing through Straits of Malacca similar to other major bunkering port in the world e.g. Singapore, Gibraltar, Fujairah, and Rotterdam. This mode of operation will be the first of its kind in Malaysia.
